The Robertson Group meets monthly from September to June on the 2nd Tuesday starting at 1 pm with everyone bringing a bag lunch.
They meet as a community to explore various Christian topics which encourage and support one another in response to God’s love. They are involved in local and world mission through prayer, study, service and fellowship. Guest speakers are invited followed by discuss on the topic.
Some of the outreach projects include:
- Medical Ministry International with the collection of used prescription eyeglasses.
- Purchase of wheelchairs with the collection of pop and other tin can tabs.
- Support of Milton Food Bank, reaching out to help our community.
- Local outreach to a family in need with a Christmas Dinner basket.
- Assisting the Sunday School Children in their mission project each year.
The group is named after Gladden Robertson who with her husband Dr. Wm. Edgar Robertson served for many years as missionaries in China.
