Knox Worships

Knox Worship Continues! ..... ONLINE !!!!!

SUNDAY at 10:30 a.m.

Please join us this Sunday as Pastor Steve leads us in worship. We will continue our Knox practice of celebrating Communion on the first Sunday of the month. If you will be sharing in Communion, please prepare elements of bread and juice.

For anyone not on the Knox e-mail mailing list, they can receive, by e-mail, their own personalized ZOOM LINK to worship with us. All we need is an e-mail sent to knoxworships@knoxmilton.com with their e-mail address, First Name, Last Name. Requests can be received up to 10:00 a.m. on the morning of the worship service.

The Knox Online Worship Service will also be livestreamed to the Knox Facebook page and the sermon audio will be posted to our website www.knoxmilton.com for your convenience.

Knox Re-Entry

Knox leaders met earlier in June and decided that for the near to intermediate term, we would err on the side of caution in keeping our facility restricted from group gatherings including Sunday Worship. We continue with weekly Online Sunday Worship opportunities via Zoom and Facebook and some Small Group Bible Studies continue online via Zoom.

We have already defined many of the physical arrangements that would be necessary in a phased reopening, but we are also cognizant of the complexity of operating the church with many restrictions still in place. For instance, at present, church schools cannot be reopened, there can be no singing, maintaining social distancing in a limited access old building (access to washrooms, etc.) is problematic, and numerous other aspects of being present in the church remain under restriction.

And so, Knox leaders continue to monitor the response to COVID-19 by the Province, the Region and our town and are weighing any developments relative to our own church facility and congregation. We will communicate as new information emerges.

In the meantime, we want to hear from you. You can send us an e-mail to knoxconnnects@knoxmilton.com

While we have all have been affected by the coronavirus, all Knox family have remained free of infections, so far as we know, and for this we celebrate and give thanks to the Lord. All of us look forward to the day when we will be able to once again move about freely knowing that if contacted by such a virus there is a vaccine or other medical response to manage the extent of the illness.

May the Lord watch over us all as we give thanks, always, for the life we have in Jesus.

Salvation Army – Khi Community Food Bank

Knox has been a long-standing friend and supporter of the Milton Salvation Army Khi Community. Their Food bank service to those in need in Milton is a key component of their Christian witness in our town. Not surprisingly, the demand today is as great as ever.

Donations of non-perishable food items for our food bank are always needed. There are drop boxes located throughout Milton at The Superstore, Metro, Walmart Superstore and Food Basics. Dropoff donations can also be made at their 820 Nipissing Road Unit 4 location but call ahead for hours at 905 875-1022. Their website is www.khicommunity.com

Let us pray for each other and look forward to the day that we can once again can worship together in person in Spirit and Truth!
